Visiting the Sick
The Prophet ﷺ said: “The rights of one Muslim over another are six… when he falls sick, visit him.”

Illness is isolating, and it is often hardest on those with no family nearby. This project connects Muslims who are unwell — in hospital, in a care home, or at home — with volunteers from the community who can sit with them.

Tell us where they are and how to reach you, and we will try to arrange a visit. You can fill the form in on someone else’s behalf.
If you would like to visit
No experience is needed. Volunteers are matched by area, availability, and — where it has been asked for — gender and language.
How it works
- A request or an offer comes in through one of the forms above.
- Someone from the team gets in touch to confirm details before any match is made.
- Visitors are matched by area, availability, and any preferences the family has given.
- We stay in touch with both sides afterwards.
